I have been working for the second practical assignment in the week, with the recent events around the world (Japan, Libya).
The inspiration for this work was the theater scene of Teun Hocks´ way to work.
It was a common work between me and three project mates. We developed outside of our first location, which was at VanderWeegen office.
The news arrived to me on the television screem, by newspaper or on internet, definitely, from the perspective which media shows. I am not in the center of the problems, I am just the viewer, but this does not mind that I do not suffer, I do, but not directly from reality.
Therefore, this suffering is expressed throught our photographies showing, with simple materials, artificial and confusing scenes. We made a serie of three photos. In them, for play with reality and perspective, setting up our own scene, we used white paper, one book, two tree toys, two neckerchiefves and ,of course, the environment and ourselves, with the intention to create another reality.
In conclusion, I wanted to show through this way the distance between me and the events, events that are making the world, from my personal point of view, to turn upside down.

Alberto Mott is Chilean illustrator in the graphic humor world and also the creator of this blog.
The translation of the title´s blog is “Daily dose”, which by itself says enough.
In the main page the sentence “look without commit and if you like it, come back”, which usually is a slogan in television commercials, shows to the viewer the best way to sell his work honestly and of course with humor.
Which makes this page such an interesting one for me is the way to show with irony and humor the daily problems, situations which not usually are taken care; showing them with simplicity; several words; comic language with a really good use in the vignette composition; the use of the color and word games are ingenious.
It is a blog for laughing, enjoying and realize in the nowadays facts.

What does your photography has to do with this suffering? How do they show? (try to describe in words). You stayed under 200 words which is good. Relationship location, Hocks and news is not completely clear. Writing in english past tense sometimes difficult?
